Live event "DEAD POP FESTiVAL 2018" sponsored by SiM will be held at Kanagawa · Higashi-Ogishima East Park Special Site on June 30 and July 1.

MAH (SiM) It was the first time that I came together at the event "MTV Boo Xmas" in 2009.

MAH RIZE, DOPING PANDA and together ONE OK ROCK and SiM got out. Since I was looking at the poster of a live house, I knew ONE OK ROCK unilaterally, but honestly, I was licking at that time (laugh).

MAH "I heard that it was a band started by an idol" I heard rumors about the story, so it was like "anyway", but when I watched the live, I thought from the first song "Okay, hesitate hey" . I felt I was completely thrilled. I did not speak much deeply at that time at that time, but I checked it unilaterally when I newly sang from there, after that I came together again with "OGA NAMAHAGE ROCK FESTIVAL" in 2012. That's why I greeted you properly.
Taka That's right. I am also a band that SiM was interested in. Age is near, it is pin vocal, but there is not much around musically like bands reggae or scream interwoven. Anyhow I was interested. But in the same way I could not talk with "Boo Xmas" .... If I thought that ... ... Akita ("OGA NAMAHAGE ROCK FESTIVAL") a few years later got me talking from MAH. I thought that the impression I was listening was a terrible thoroughbred person, but I thought "It's not such a thing at all, it's a really nice guy" (laugh).
It was because I accepted MAH . "This guy is a cool guy."
Taka I see. That is the shock in me. "I want to become better friends if I can become friends!"
MAH From "Boo Xmas" to "Namaha Rock Rock" it may have appeared on the same day at the festival etc, but ONE OK ROCK is the main stage, we always have a substage pattern. There was also a sense of inferiority to the band appearing on the main stage, so I did not want to get closer to it, but the more I listen to the song, the stronger my feeling I would like to talk. Since "Namahage lock" has only one stage, ONE OK ROCK is on the same stage, "Yes, this time we will go talk!" Everyone has a pride, so I have that kind of thing.

MAH No, I do not think that's a big deal.
Taka There is only an impression that they both got soft each other anyway (laugh).

Taka thought that it is only fun of sympathy when talking. Honestly, it is not that many people who think that it is "cool" or "sexy" or "there is flower" in the same generation vocalist. But MAH or Masato of coldrain is a vocalist who can respect it, so after meeting me at the festival and speaking, I started to eat rice and go out for dinner on the day off. The situation and direction of the band are different, but the vectors are together. There is something we can do that SiM can not do, and on the other hand there is something we can not do with SiM. It was said that MAH "approved" earlier, but I will acknowledge including such differences. I think that because they are my favorite partners, I want them to see the scenery they have made.
── That's why I greeted MAH, Masato and Koie (Crossfaith) as a guest vocalist at the Tokyo Dome performance the other day "ONE OK ROCK 2018 AMBITIONS JAPAN DOME TOUR".
Taka That's right. "Skyfall" that three people participated is a song made for this tour, but when you made this song, I thought about what kind of backbone we have in ours. Because there are not many people exploring the backbone of ONE OK ROCK, I made it on this occasion. So, it was nice to have three people to show off.
── How was it that Mr. MAH stood together on the stage of Tokyo Dome?
MAH 「デ カ! Yaba!」 (Laugh). I felt once again the amazingness of ONE OK ROCK to fill it with one man, and there was regret. But I guess the respect was big after all. But it was anxious. I did not know how many of the 50 thousand people in the audience knew about us, because only four people at ONE OK ROCK can satisfy it, so we do not have to come out separately I thought so. But as I went out, everyone at ONE OK ROCK felt warm. Everyone sang together. Taka said more than anything, but it is very happy to see the crowd at the moment of the scenery made by ONE OK ROCK as a middle person, and thank you.

MAH I always wanted you to appear on "DEAD POP" but I was not able to match the timing.
Taka That's right. In the first year when I was outdoors, I asked you to invite me and I did not schedule anything and said two answers "get out!"

Even Taka's schedule is confirmed, overseas tours have entered and refusing "Maji sorry!" When I got a voice call for the second time, I was thinking "I will definitely go without it!" But I can not get it at this timing as well, this year is my third honesty.
MAH That's right. At first Taka told me that "call me this year", but I thought "No, I can not trust this" (laugh). But I was glad this year was really decided.
──Why did you want to have it appear on the ONE OK ROCK?
It is an MAH customer (laugh).
Taka Hahaha (haha).
MAH LOSSOUTH. It is a premise that I want to show Taka what I came up with, but there are a lot of people around us that have not watched the live of ONE OK ROCK. Although I want to see but there are people who are not watching, I think people will enter inside even if they do not think to lick it like me 10 years ago. That's why, "I will introduce it because our friends are cool". Even friends of Bandman sometimes have a distorted image or something that says something like "Taka is like this person" like you said. But if you see live performances like that, I think that it will be the same reaction as me in absolutely old times. I say it every time because "Taka is really a proper guy".

MAH That's right.
Taka It's hard to just do a one-man, but calling that extra guest band for 2 days ... ... even gold, I think it's tough. It's amazing that the band responsible for releasing and tourism takes responsibility. I am looking forward to doing it with coldrain and the band of the same generation, and I'm looking forward to being able to compete with the children of the new generation's band to get inspiration. On the contrary, I watch a young band who is getting inspired by this generation and think that I'm in such a position, too. Even though our generation comes out to the festival, every year the senior band is extraordinary. But I guess it seems that I'm getting into that seniority.
MAH That's right.
── As Mr. continues with "DEAD POP FESTiVAL", do you realize that they are in a position to stimulate them?
I do MAH . I think that I am still down all the way. TOSHI - LOW (BRAHMAN), san or seniors are always behind the stage and I always keep saying "Good morning!" But I noticed that there are children who can rely on "I have something I'd like to consult" and I am also mid-level.
Taka No, it's not mid-level, is it? Because I have been doing it for over 10 years. When I do it for ten years, I think that it is already a great place as a level, in the band world.
MAH Is that so? Even chefs say "I'm doing 10 years," I guess it's a veteran (laugh). How old is Taka?

MAH GOOD.

I think MAH is very happy because it means that we can keep up with each other in the same profession because we can get old together. I'm glad that you are doing the front line with Taka all the time while I was quitting. On the other hand, I have fun and anxiety about how long I can continue. So I am happy that the super busy ONE OK ROCK like a world tour will give a punch to my friend's festival. Because everyone wants them to appear at ONE OK ROCK. On the live of ONE OK ROCK "MAKE SAFETANO" (MAH)
── Although it is said that it was made when you watched live for the first time, what kind of place do you think the attraction of ONE OK ROCK seen from MAH?
If you let me tell you with a trainer look at MAH Taka 's singing out or singing well, the performance is really solid, all such people understand ... ... Show some of the world' s most advanced level including Japan I think that it is one of the few bands I can have. You say that you are crossing the rock band live, or you can return as a single entertainment "I saw you all along". Not to mention a one-man, but it's obviously flying at festivals and events, too. Earlier, when I was given a SHIBUYA-AX on a SiM tour, it was already live enough to see AX as a dome. Do not you say it was not a live housed in a live house? It is not that I am doing something cramped, I feel that I am different from what I'm seeing. The venue of "DEAD POP" is also not narrow, and 10,000 thousand people are entering, but when ONE OK ROCK is doing it seems to be visible to the stage of 50 thousand people.

MAH I have been on various bands so far, and various bands will come out this year, but I think that ONE OK ROCK is the most important thing to feel the scale feeling.

Taka also says it (laugh). From the first time I saw it for the first time I say that I am able to express what I want to do on the stage. At that time I saw SiM, I thought that overwhelming expressive power, especially erotic vocalists are overflowing. Of course it was not that I had never had it before, but I think that it was an old band, but that is something like a fossil if I do it from me. Taka (laugh). Besides the shade part attracted as a rock band to SiM, I also sang a message saying "Let's do my best tomorrow". I like that balance feeling very much. It is not in ONE OK ROCK, nor in coldrain. I mean SiM is a band that hits its world view with its own style.
Even from MAH , it is because there is Taka and so on. Even though I sing anything, I can not win Taka with the goodness of singing, I can not win Masato if I say it in a sense of prince. With gorilla feeling I can not win against Koi-chan (laugh).

─ ─ Please tell us your enthusiasm for "DEAD POP FESTiVAL" where all the fellows like such Avengers come together.
Taka I want to chew the pleasure of being in the festival sponsored by the band that I am deeply respected, living in the same era. I think that various sceneries that I see for the first time are spreading, so I would like to take it. Of course it does not work properly for customers, but I am looking forward to being able to set myself for that stage more than that. Anyway, I want to have fun.

MAH customers think that they will side up, so I'm willing to enjoy it, I think that it would be nice to go up to the stage. Also I will have ONE OK ROCK to see the sight of "DEAD POP FESTiVAL" for the first time, so I'd like to do it for 2 days that I thought "I want to go out again if this is the case". Taka Do you sleep properly every year for 2 days?
I 'm not sleeping I have not slept. When you stand on the stage, it's already hello.

Even in MAH , there is a sense of fulfillment as saying that it is a tremendous sense of achievement after including it. It is the stuff that actually moves, and they just just get on. It seems that "This year was also good" because everyone's live was good. Even so, we went out after all the bands and thought that I wanted to make it a live "I think SiM was the coolest after all" I thought.

MAH What do you do in the future? Because the world is wide, there are places that customers do not enter so much yet, do you? Will you aim to do something like a dome tour like that?
Taka Well ... how about that? Even though I am planning to work overseas and doing a world tour, there are still conditions that results have not come. Want to wear it for Western music, we are fighting in the stalls as it is a Japanese band so I will stay as it is. It's easy to try to shake it off, but whether the fans will understand that ... ....
MAH I see. It is hard work.
Taka But I do not care if I try anything, so I'm thinking I'm going to shake it off this year. You can stop it if it does not fit your skin. What is the future of SiM? I am interested!

MAH Umm ... ... Do you think you are thinking too much about your fans ... ....
Taka SiM is great for fans.

When I was worried about doing live at Nippon Budokan, I decided to think that ONE OK ROCK was running and "I do not even have to run".
